April 28, 2008

Wow, what a week. There is so much going on at the Attic Window. You must stop in and see the American Jane Trunk Show. You will love the samples, and if you are like me, anxious for the patterns to come in so you can start making up one of those beautiful quilts.

The newsletter is out. If you haven't received your copy yet, give the shop a call. Also, please don't forget to turn in your registration form (found in the newsletter) so you will be sure and receive the newsletter in the future. We are updating our mailing list. If you prefer, you now have the option to receive your newsletter via e-mail. Regardless, don't forget to stop by every week and view this blog. It is updated weekly so you can see what new is happening at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. (However, this next Sunday I will not be around to update the blog until later in the week. Vacation!) ;0)

Some fun classes are coming up in May. There is a new class on denium shirts, and one for making wallets. Everyone is talking about the environment lately and the Eco Friendly Bag is sure to be in demand.

Hope everyone has a great week!

It's Earth Day. And what a beautiful day it has been. It's hard to think of being inside and quilting when there is so much to do in the yard. It seems everyone is eager to get out in that sunshine after such a long and hard winter. Take advantage of the next week. Get that spring cleaning done. Get that yard work finished. Then get ready for the next Attic Window Newsletter which will be out by the first of May.

There is an abundance of classes that you'll want to read about and sign up for. The teachers have really worked hard to get their samples ready and make sure you have some interesting projects to do.

Don't forget to re-register for the newsletter. We'd like to know who wants to receive their newsletter and news of upcoming events via e-mail.

Hope everyone has a great week enjoying this beautiful weather.

Wow, what a week. I've been working on the newsletter and you are going to love it. It is crammed full of new classes, techniques, and events, including a week end retreat. We are also asking everyone to re-sign up for the newsletter. We need to know if you want it mailed to you or would you prefer to have it sent in an e-mail. The sign up form is in the newsletter.

The annual Skip is in June and Chris and her staff are busy getting things ready for that.

The Annual Fat Quarter Sale is May 8th, 9th, and 10th. Stop by the shop early and take advantage of this great bargin.

Quilts For Wheels will start on May 12th. Bring your tools, machine, etc. and join us on the second Monday of each month making a small quilt for children and adults who are in wheel chairs. If you are not able to help us out with the construction but would like to donate fabrics, thread or batting, that would be appreciated.
