HAVE YOU TRIED TWILLING?

Above is a picture of Barb’s latest finished Twilling project.  I love this quilt!  I never would have been brave enough to use white thread on a blue background. My stitches leave a lot to be desired and show every imperfection.  Barb doesn’t have to be concerned about that.  Her stitches are awesome.  If you haven’t learned how to do Twilling yet, you will be thrilled, as I was, to learn that Barb's how-to book is nearly complete and ready for publication.

This is a close up of one of the blocks.  I can’t wait to see Barb’s book and get started on one of her many projects.  I’ll keep you posted as to the publication date!

It’s almost here:  Thursday, Friday, Saturday, SUNDAY!   Don’t make any other plans because you won’t want to miss the shop’s biggest sale of the year.  On January 1, 2012, the Attic Window Quilt Shop will be having a huge sale from 12-4 p.m.  Chris says that some things will be as much as 75% off!  Don’t forget!

PLEASE NOTE:  The Attic Window Newsletter is now available.  You can read it and/or download it onto your computer by clicking on the lady with the hat on the sidebar.  In it you will find information on clubs, Bees, classes, and upcoming events.  There is one minor change that needs to be noted.  Rose Of Sharon pickup will not begin until March.  Be sure and check it out.

If you liked the previous post about the Lil’ Twister tool, you’ll find this link interesting.  Happy Quilting has a tutorial for making a diagonal quilt with the Twister tool.  Check it out!
