ID PURSES ARE FUN TO MAKE

Did you get any sewing done over the holiday weekend?  I am working on three different projects and nothing is completed.  However, I did make these two ID purses over the weekend.  I was thrilled when my granddaughter and DIL asked me to make them one.  I love making things for people but don’t want to force my projects onto others.  Everyone’s taste is different and I respect that.  Being asked to make these made my day.
Here is a close up of one of the purses.
This is a close up of the other purse.  The pattern is I.D. Coin Purse from Granny’s Quilting in Palmetto, Florida.  It is designed and created by Ruth DeVries.  Ruth came to the Attic Window Quilt Shop a few years ago and taught the class.  Take a look on the sidebar for more upcoming fun classes at the shop.

Here are some fun links for you:
Did you know this about batteries?  Check out Cornerstone Confessions for information on battery storage and organization.

And did you know this about cucumbers?  Check out The Prudent Pantry for information about how to keep those cucumbers fresh.

I’ve saved the best for last because you will spend a lot of time at Bits From The Scrap Basket.  There are a lot of links to her favorite tutorials.

Can you tell me how I might purchase a pattern for the Id purse? I live in texas and it would have to be mailed.

Thanks.

/Great job!. Don't you just love it when someone from your family likes something so much that they ask you to make it for them. I don't mind making, when I know they are going to like it! Have a great rest of the week.

I love those purses. It looks like you put your DL in the front. Does it hold money and credit cards?
