ALL WORK AND NO PLAY TODAY

There was no dancing when the Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday.  We got right down to work and have lots to show you.  Above is the petite Pinwheel Table runner that Lee Anne made.  The pattern is by Quilted Memories.  Lee Anne is all ready for the holidays with this darling table runner.
Janalee, who is relatively new to quilting, finished this adorable paper pieced log cabin quilt.
This is a close-up of one of the blocks.
We share our knowledge.  Above Janelee and Diana talk about paper piecing.
I bet they talked about Tatting too.  Above is a little display that Diana assembled to let people see what they can learn in her class.   This NEW Tatting Class is Thursday, October 16.  You can come to a class from 3-5 in the afternoon or from 6-8 p.m.  This is a two-week class.
Vickie D. stopped by and did some hand sewing with us.  She put the final touches on this delightful wall hanging, which she plans to put in her office.
This is a close-up of the Ghost Dust.  Vickie used glow-in-the-dark thread to stitch around each ghost.  Can’t you imagine someone coming into her law firm late at night and getting a glimpse of that!  LOL
I worked on this bag.  The pattern is The Scoop Tote by Green Bee Patterns.  The perfect size for a project box.

DON’T FORGET:
  • Beginning Shuttle Tatting, Thursday, Oct. 16 & 23.  Class times: 3-5 and/or 6-8
  • Four Patch Fun, Monday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m.
  • CANCELLED.  Vickie’s finishing class for her spiral lone star quilt that was scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 9, has been cancelled and RESCHEDULED for Friday, Oct. 24, 10 a.m.
  • London City Bag, Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m.
  • Shop Swap CHANGE OF DATE– Attic Window Quilt Shop and Quilted Memories – New Date: Sunday, Nov. 9 and Nov. 23, from 12-4 p.m.
  • Check the calendar on the Sidebar for more classes being held this month.
ANOTHER NOTE
  • Little miss Shabby has patterns for Deck The Halls Placemats.  Make some for the holidays.
Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!
