NEW...LEARN TO MAKE THIS...AND MORE

NEW! Take this Beginning Shuttle Tatting class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on Thursday, October 16th, with Diana A.  Here is what she says about this new class.

The class consists of two 2-hr sessions.  You may choose from afternoon or evening.
Session 1 is Thursday Oct 16 from either 3-5 or 6-8.  This session will focus on learning the basic knot and how to make rings, chains, picots, and joins using a variegated thread.  Begin a length of simple edging that can be taken home to continue practicing with.  We will also discuss what each student wants to work on in the second session.
Session 2 is Thursday October 23 from either 3-5 or 6-8. In this session they will learn how to determine the amount of thread they need for a project, additional knot techniques, adding new threads, and how to finish off threads. Each student will be able to work on a project of their choice such as a snowflake, bookmark, and finer lace edging.   Additional sessions may be scheduled as students progress or have questions.  If someone wanted to learn but Thursdays don't fit their schedule they should contact the shop and leave their name and phone number and I will call them to try and schedule a mutually agreeable time.
Learn to make a Quilt-As-You-Go on Monday, October 13, from 10-4, with Caroll.
Make this striking Four Patch Fun quilt on Monday, October 20th, from 10-4, with Vickie S.
Saturday, October 25th, from 10-5, you can make this charming London City Bag with Lee Anne.  Wouldn’t it make a wonderful Christmas gift!

As always, call the shop to register for a class and get a supply list.  Hope to see you there!

DON’T FORGET:
  • Wednesday, October 8, and again on Saturday, October 11, the Happy Scrappers meet. Come sew with us and enjoy the fun.
  • CANCELLED.  Vickie’s finishing class for her spiral lone star quilt that was scheduled for Thursday, has been cancelled.  The RESCHEDULED class will be October 23rd from 10-2.
  • Shop Swap – Attic Window Quilt Shop and Quilted Memories – October 19 and 26
ANOTHER NOTE:
Ever wonder what to do with that Jelly Roll you purchased?  Jelly Roll Fabrics has lots of ideas.  Check it out!

Until next time,
