MUG RUGS MAKE NICE GIFTS

Above is Marilyn's finished Mug Rug.
I first posted about it here.  She made this darling mug rug from The New Hexagon book that you can find at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Looks like fun.  I may have to try English Paper Piecing.

DON’T FORGET:
  • Marilyn’s Coin Purse class on Friday, April 24.
  • Mod Squad Modern Bee meets Wednesday, April 22.
  • Stitch-In on Saturday, April 25.
  • Glam Shell Bag, Friday, May 1 and another on Monday, May 11.

Very cute! I have thus far only done one very small hexagon flower for my Sue Spargo BOM using EEP. It was fun to try and turned out well. I can't imagine I'd enjoy it enough to do a big quilt with the technique, but a mug rug might be a good way to ease into it.
