HAPPY QUILTING FRIENDS ARE THE BEST

This past Saturday the Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and a fun day was had by all!  Our dear friend Adrienne was back from her homeland of New Zealand. We'll have more about that tomorrow.  Saturday she was working on this applique project above.
This is a block for a quilt that Nancy is making.  These are usually not my colors but this block caused me to do a double take. I love these fabrics!  I think the block is for a class she is taking with Vickie S.
Cathy showed us another Sew Together bag that she made.
This is another view as she wanted me to show the "Tigers" in the upright position.  The bag is for her daughter who is a Tigers fan.
Cathy worked on making tea leaves.  She is making another set of place mats for one of her daughters.  I love these colors.

Lee Anne showed us this stunning quilt.  If I remember correctly, it is the Disappearing 9-Patch pattern.
Rosa worked on this darling chevron quilt.  She is making it for the First Monday Charity Group.  That Rosa is the best!
Speaking of the best...Val is the best too!  She provided lunch for all of us.  She brought in chicken salad and rolls and Chicago Popcorn.  Judi A. brought in her rhubarb crisp.  And someone else brought in Chocolate pie from the Grand Traverse Pie company!  We had a meal to die for!
Above you can see some of the women enjoying that scrumptious meal!  A special thanks to Val and Judi for providing us with such a wonderful lunch!
