The Happy Scrappers met Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  This group is great at sharing knowledge.  Above Cathy explains about the Modern Bee Hive that some of us are participating in,
Above is just one of the blocks she received from the 11 other members of the group.  This group is based on the book Modern Bee, 13 quilts to make with friends, by Lindsay Conner.
After the little tutorial from Cathy, Paula, above, showed us one of the applique blocks she is working on.  This block is for the Feathered Friends Quilt that she is making from the book Folk Quilt Applique by Clare Kingslake.

Lee Anne showed us this darling quilt that she made from a charm pack.  She is donating it to the Charity group that meets the first Monday of the month at the shop.
Judi A. was working on this adorable bunny applique....
until she got distracted when she saw Adrienne's scrap pile.
Adrienne is using all these scraps to make the Scrap Vortex quilt as seen on Crazy Mom Quilts.  Above you can see a few of her blocks.
Adrienne shared with us how she speeds up her process of sewing her scraps together.
Adrienne, being the generous person that she is, told Judi to help herself to the scrap pile.
Above is the cute little block that Judi made from Adrienne's scraps.

The scrap vortex process was fun. I love what Adrienne is doing. I may start another as a Leader and Ender.
