A GIFT TO WARM MY HEART

I have said it before, quilting friends are the best.  I was overwhelmed when I received a package in the mail the other day and it was from Germany.  Above is what my blogging/quilting friend Bobbi sent me.  She said it was just to cheer me up.  I was thrilled!
I spread the items out so you can see them better. I will show you what was behind them in a minute.  Above you can see the adorable hand made postcard that she sent and she wrote me a note on the back. What talent!  And the key chain is wonderful and will be well used.
This is a close up of the snap bag.  It is so cute and has two rings for keys.
Also included was the pattern for the frog thread catcher.  Bobbi said that she had read on the blog that we could not get the pattern anymore, so she send me one that she purchased in Germany.  How wonderful!  I can’t wait to try to make this cute little guy.

Bobbi, thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and for sharing your talent with me.  I love everything and will think of you often as I use the various items.  Hugs to you.

OPEN HOUSE:

  • In celebration of the opening of the new store Chris is having a Fall Open House on Wednesday, September 23, through Saturday, September 26.

Since the Attic Window Quilt Shop has moved, some cleaning had to be done.  During the course of moving and opening boxes and totes, Chris said that she found lots of stuff that is now available in the shop.  "We also have lots of new classes coming up too," Chris said.

So be sure and save the dates and come visit the Attic Window Quilt Shop during the Fall Open House.  You will be able to sign up for a class and get the second class for half price (limit one per person).  Also, you will receive a free gift!
