HAPPY SCRAPPERS AND NEW CLASS SAMPLES

The Happy Scrappers met Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and there was lots of show and share.  Marilyn showed us this darling coin purse.  When you buy the pattern the frame is included.
This is another view of the purse.  You can make this with Marilyn when she has a class at the shop on Tuesday, September 15, from 1-4 p.m.
Vickie showed us this beautiful block and the one below.
These patterns are from McKim Studios.  You can learn a lot when you participate in the Ruby Short McKim Flower Basket BOM which starts in October.  These lovely 12" blocks can be made using various techniques, which you will learn throughout the months.  There are 32 blocks in the pattern, which was first designed in 1934 and was printed in newspapers across the country.  The quilt will finish at 80 X 97.  This pattern is not available online and can only be purchased at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and one other shop in Michigan.  The BOM is scheduled to start in October.  Come sit and stitch and learn a new technique each month.  Call the shop to register.
Judi A. has been playing with her new embroidery machine.  These blocks are fantastic.
Here are three more stunning blocks that will to in this quilt.
Judi also made this adorable little turtle.  She has been busy!
Remember these bags?  Left is the Glam Shell Bag that I blogged about here.  Right is the Divalicious Wallet that I blogged about here.  You can make either the bag or the wallet when you take a class with Diana on Monday, September 28, from 10 - 5.  Call the shop to register and get your supply list.
