HAPPY SCRAPPERS SHOW OFF

The Happy Scrappers met Saturday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Although only a few of us attended, we had quite a show-n-tell!  Above is the Eames quilt that Cathy M. just finished.

Her quilt is 80" square and the blocks encompass various techniques.  She perfected her curved piecing and some of the blocks were paper pieced.  Cathy did her own quilting on each block and then put the quilt together using her own QAYG method.

This picture shows you the back of her quilt.  Perfect backing for a perfect quilt.  You can learn more about this quilt on Cathy's blog here.

As I said the group was small on Saturday which made it great for sitting, sewing, and sharing stories.  Marti worked on the binding on her quilt.

Nancy worked on her Chicadee BOM that is held at the shop.

And I finished my block for Pat Sloan's Mystery quilt.  After it was finished, I wished I had added some yellow to the block; however, I'm not doing a do over now.
