BEES IN THE ATTIC AND COOKBOOK BOM MEET AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Adrienne was queen this month when the Bees In The Attic met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on Wednesday.  Above, wearing her crown, Adrienne shows the blocks we made for her.  I think she will be making more of these over the next few months when she is visiting her homeland.  We will miss her.

This is a little closer look at the blocks.
Roxanne is queen next month.  This month she distributed kits with fabric and directions for the blocks she wants us to make.  She asks that we make the Lattice block from the Fat Quarter Style book.  However, she asks that we do not continue as directed in the pattern.  Do not sew the blocks together.  She has a certain way that she will sew the blocks together.  Also, Roxanne asks that those little triangles that will be discarded when making these squares, be returned to her.  In fact, it will be helpful if you sew them together.
We had some show-n-tell.  Above, Barb shows us the quilt that she made from the blocks we made and gave to her when she was queen.  You can see that post here.  I love this quilt!
This is a little closer look at Barb's quilt.
I showed everyone the table topper I recently made.  That Cathy insisted on taking a picture.  Oh, my!
Adrienne helped me hold up this quilt that Cathy and I made from the sample blocks for the Quilt Block Cookbook BOM.  Cathy put the blocks together and made the binding from scraps.  I sandwiched andquilted it and added the binding.  We plan on giving it to charity.
This will be the final block for the Quilt Block Cookbook BOM.  This block is Shine in the book.

DON'T FORGET to sign up for the Heart of Winter Tour bus trip on Saturday, Feb. 10th.  You can read about it here.  I'm really looking forward to visiting the four shops on the tour.

Love Adrienne’s bright quilt blocks. Roxanne’s quilt plan sounds pretty interesting. Barb’s quilt is gorgeous. Love the blue and green with white. Your hearts table topper is fantastic! And you cookbook BOM is really fun. A lot of work involved in that quilt. So generous of you both to donate it to charity.
