HAVE YOU GONE TO THE DOGS?

Since we are having winter weather this spring here in Michigan, I've been spending a lot of time in my sewing room.  Above is what I've been working on.  This quilt is called Hound Dogs and is from the book Happy Quilts by Antonie Alexander.  You can get it at the Attic Window Quilt Shop
I used a different kind of applique on these blocks and found that I did like the fusing method.  However, as I said before, I get bored with making the same thing over and over, so I tried making each dog a little different from the pattern.  Above is a fireman.
This one makes me think of a professor or a sweet little girl.  What do you think when you see this one?
 A Little girl.
 Surprise attack.
 Question?
Future Farmer.  When I saw the FFA fabrics at the Attic Window Quilt Shop I had to use it.
 Dreamer or Wishful thinking.
Yummmmm.

These were fun to make.  I will be giving this to the charity group and hope some child enjoys them as much as I did.

This doggy quilt is so adorable! A child will treasure this one. Each dog has a great personality. You’ve done well with their expressions. It’s such a fun quilt to look at.
