Also, I wanted to show you this picture. Chris put the binding on the quilt and you can see it at the <b><i><u>Attic Window Quilt Shop.</u></i></b> You can also get the pattern there. I used freezer paper applique to make the applique on this quilt, and if anyone wants to earn this method just call the shop and let Chris know. I have heard people say they don't like all the prep work involved in this method. The thing I like about freezer paper applique is that you get nice crisp edges, and once the prep work is done and the applique is glued in place, you can take your project with you and do your hand sewing anywhere. </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"><span><span>The <b><i><u>Attic Window Quilt Shop</u></i></b> is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4. </span></span><span><span>Stop in and get some of the new fabrics. The <b>Happy Scrappers</b> met at the <b><i><u>Attic Window Quilt Shop </u></i></b>this past Saturday. It was a beautiful day here in Michigan and I'm not surprised that there were only three of us to quilt. I don't think Marti nor I sewed a stitch, but we socialized and talked to Mary G. while she did some sewing. And we walked around the shop and saw a lot of new items that I am eager to show you. Check out this wall hanging. It's perfect for this time of year. This Pumpkin Quilt
called Enormous was made by Melonie! Kits will be available. </span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAIrE5bVynHlTZaz2UCiAveC2S7_fW_gx4J6eIVgHd3ncmTL4Rj-t26oQ4npYz8q72Ujj3zW8sG7k8WyBCr7io2a5AZ1PtRoQeK9C1SRf2Lpy5mg_HC1oWyfg_blEJO21F1CTg0zHoXZoyngDhejvAHfoWZZVzIJ80BiS7Gv0u7yDX20NFFk0YLx_fvh0/s800/37864.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAIrE5bVynHlTZaz2UCiAveC2S7_fW_gx4J6eIVgHd3ncmTL4Rj-t26oQ4npYz8q72Ujj3zW8sG7k8WyBCr7io2a5AZ1PtRoQeK9C1SRf2Lpy5mg_HC1oWyfg_blEJO21F1CTg0zHoXZoyngDhejvAHfoWZZVzIJ80BiS7Gv0u7yDX20NFFk0YLx_fvh0/w400-h300/37864.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;">And these are some new fabrics. So much to talk about, and catch up on what everyone has been doing. It's been a beautiful summer here in Michigan, but it was in the 90s that day, and I was afraid I would be quilting alone while everyone else was out enjoying the lake or cottage. I was so glad to be able to come to the shop and enjoy the air condition. And I think everyone else was too.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;">I don't know why, but apparently I didn't get a picture of the little project that Chris has ready for us next month. It is so cute. Anyway, she has asked us to come and set up our machines ready to sew, before we start in on a project of our own, so we all will be ready for her project at the same time.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;">Tomorrow, I'll show you some new fabrics in the shop and a bag. you can make. So keep a watch out for the announcement and a way to sign up.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"><span>The <b><i><u>Attic Window Quilt Shop</u></i></b> is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4. </span><br /></span></p>West Michigan Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07302049942887238879noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7219516385806731740.post-52474144361253487612023-07-05T15:01:00.001-04:002023-07-05T15:03:35.288-04:00NEW BOM AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQR6l2PEF_i6dO_3amkeFaNNL0QCPoYxuk7iF02Ag0cwlRBLS-DDOvoZjatyIUTLo-HOoEvuFcSTIS2FERISzd7rqAesZxDesUOYeIsOzB_VhUKiSqbZBHnOotlW3v7SIhUBSf9Ag1mV6uAMtxPG3wIutUdieU8_U8QBBu710uP9YKToQpiLMP4mkEyYY/s3690/IMG_3145.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3623" data-original-width="3690" height="393" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQR6l2PEF_i6dO_3amkeFaNNL0QCPoYxuk7iF02Ag0cwlRBLS-DDOvoZjatyIUTLo-HOoEvuFcSTIS2FERISzd7rqAesZxDesUOYeIsOzB_VhUKiSqbZBHnOotlW3v7SIhUBSf9Ag1mV6uAMtxPG3wIutUdieU8_U8QBBu710uP9YKToQpiLMP4mkEyYY/w400-h393/IMG_3145.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO2kGI6VLHfj2UPpW_7P36Ot_X5mTGrmZdlNlCowEIkmPF1cHlYBvSo-El2UhbumpbvITnqRFXW1J-BGYGMnjGBTMgYHawYYnzRfy88bNNEeH3QoVTQ5Kb_sg1CKqJUW7R3HS8bp6rcDEX6tAY4HIMEYQqWjs84dxcn_htTHOMUo4DlpXaiO_Gvju3azI/s480/34083.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="360" data-original-width="480" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO2kGI6VLHfj2UPpW_7P36Ot_X5mTGrmZdlNlCowEIkmPF1cHlYBvSo-El2UhbumpbvITnqRFXW1J-BGYGMnjGBTMgYHawYYnzRfy88bNNEeH3QoVTQ5Kb_sg1CKqJUW7R3HS8bp6rcDEX6tAY4HIMEYQqWjs84dxcn_htTHOMUo4DlpXaiO_Gvju3azI/w400-h300/34083.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div><p><br /><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: large;"> It's been a long, hot holiday and I can't remember if I told you about the new BOM at the <b><i><u>Attic Window Quilt Shop</u></i></b>.
