GREAT FABRICS AT THE ATTIC WINDOW

I love this Peek-A-Zoo fabric that is in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  It is by Henry Glass and Company.
Here is another picture of one of the squares in this darling fabric.  I was thinking, not only is this fabric perfect for a child’s quilt, but these squares would be cute as coasters or in placemats!  I bet you could come up with other ideas.
This fabric is Cute As a Bug Black by Avlyn.  Chris used this fabric to make the cutest curtain.  As you walk into the shop, you will see it in the window on the left.  Several coordinating fabrics are also available.

Check out the calendar on the sidebar.  There are some great classes coming up this week.  You can make a darling Keep Sake Quilt with Carolyn E.   Maybe you’d like to try your hand at a Stack N Wack?  How about learning the basic techniques for Machine Appliqué?   There is always something to do at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Even if you don’t take a class, you’ll want to stop by and check out all the books, patterns, and fabric (new arriving daily).  Don’t forget about the Sampler series.  It’s not too late to sign up as this is only the second time we are meeting.  Call the shop for further details.

Badskirt  (don't you love the name of that blog) has a tutorial for a Japanese-X and Scrappy quilt.  Check it out!

  2. Hehehe...that Japanese X + is already on my radar! I saw Freshly Pieced's Supernova block two months ago and considered it for awhile, then Amy intro'ed her block last week and the inspiration quilt --- and that was all the motivation I needed to add it to my to do list!

  4. Those are pretty cute. I feel like I've been spending a fortune lately on fabric and supplies...probably because I have been. I need to lay off for a while, but it is sure fun looking! :-) Thanks for the eye candy!
