NEW TOOL TO MAKE THIS BLOCK

I love this block.  Look at how the seams meet exactly and how nice those points are, leaving that ¼ inch for the seam.  I wish I could piece like this.  Chris from the Attic Window Quilt Shop made this block.
Above Chris demonstrates the new tool that she used to make the star block.  Maybe if I get this tool I can make perfect blocks too!

EDIT:  This tool is the  90° Strip Ruler for Quarter Square Triangles by Creative Grids.  Sorry but I forgot the name of the tool when I wrote the blog.
Don’t Forget:  Friday, October 21, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. is Boo Night at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  You’ll want to come dressed in your Halloween costume, take advantage of the sales, and participate in the Make It and Take It.  REMEMBER:  You must wear a costume to get the discounts!  I can’t wait to take pictures of this fun-filled evening.

Quilt Inspiration has some links to free patterns just in time for Halloween!
