I’m still missing Modern Monday, so I thought I’d show you this block. It looks rather modern to me. When I first saw it on Quilting Lodge I couldn’t resist and had to give it a try. The block is called Swirly Twirly Dresden. It is paper pieced.
While visiting the Quilting Lodge take a look at her Texas Teardrops Quilt Along. I love that quilt and hope to find time to participate in the quilt along.

Quilting for Kids With Cancer

Generosity has no bounds. Above are the women in the Quilts For Kids group at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Left to right, Henrietta, Phyllis, Nancy, Carol, Karen. These women donate their time, fabric, money once a month to make quilts for kids who have cancer.
Quilts For Wheels

Oh I love that block! I don't know how to paper piece...I wonder if I could learn. I love the quilt along quilt too, but it looks beyond me.
