HAPPY SCRAPPERS HAVE SHOW-N-TELL

We had some Show-N-Tell when the Happy Scrappers met recently at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I love this block that Marcy W. made.  She said she saw a picture on Pinterest, did a search for the pattern and started making this quilt. I love the colors she is using.
Judy F. loves handwork and showed us several quilts that she had made and hand quilted.   I hope you can see her excellent work in this whole cloth quilt.
Judy F. also made this darling table topper.
Judy also made this.  Look closely.  Can you see the awesome cross hatch and feather quilting on the side?
I bet you can see the cross-hatch quilting on this darling heart quilt that Judy made.
Judy also had something in this Whitman’s Candy tin to show us.
Judy turned it into a sewing kit.  Isn’t this stunning!
Bev S. was working on this Hawaiian quilt block.  She uses the back stitch method of needle turn.  Beautiful!  This was a BOM and called Sarah’s Revival.  The pattern says it pays homage to Sarah Holcomb’s 1847 quilt.  The pattern is by Susan H. Garman.
Colleen S. stopped in the shop to look for some blues for her Super Nova Quilt.  She showed us this awesome Bargello quilt that she made.  It amazes me how someone can do this.  Her piecing is so precise.
Dee made this gorgeous quilt.  What a wonderful way to use your scraps.  Check out her border.  Very clever.
Yvonne was making her focus centered paper-pieced log cabin squares.  Isn’t he adorable!
This is another one that Yvonne made.  This quilt is going to be delightful.
Of course, with all this creative activity going on we needed something to sustain us.  We were so happy that Rosa was back from her vacation and brought in cheese cake that her husband made for us.  I don’t think there was a piece left of this delicious dessert.   Judi brought the donuts, which were much appreciated too.  Gads, I hope spring gets here soon because I have a lot of dessert to walk off!
