DOLLS AND TRAVELING

Since I have been a bit under the weather lately, my lovely quilting friends have been sending me pictures of what is happening at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, Maggie is participating in the Doll Bee.  I love these little dolls and wish I had the patience to make one.  Julie L. teaches the class and runs the bee.  She is a fantastic teacher and if you are interested in making one of these dolls you should stop by and join her Bee any Thursday to see what is going on.  You might want to join one of Julie’s doll making classes. You can check the calendar on the sidebar for classes/Bees and times.
Thanks, Julie for sending me the picture.

SOMETHING TO TRAVEL ABOUT:  Are you traveling this summer?  Before you get on the road be sure and check the Row By Row website.  This is a new kind of shop hop.  There are no fees and no passports required, but you can visit the shops all summer long.  You simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern, and if desired, you can participate in a contest where you may win a great prize.  It tells all about the experience on the website.  Simply, click on the "Start Here" tab, and then click on the license plates of the states you are visiting to see which shops are participating.  NOTICE:  The Attic Window Quilt Shop is participating, so be sure and stop by!

ON ANOTHER NOTE: Seaside Stitches has a tutorial for a fabric box.

Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

  1. I don't have the patience for dolls either. They are lovely though.

    Hope you feel better soon!
