YOU CAN MAKE THIS ONE BLOCK WONDER

Above is the One-Block Wonder quilt that is a sample for the class that Vickie S. will be teaching at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on Thursday, June 12th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  This is a stunning quilt.  I believe the book that the class will be using is One-Block Wonders, by Maxine Rosenthal.
This is a close up of one of the blocks.  There is even a One Block Wonder blog where you can see the many ways your quilt will look using various fabrics.  Vickie is a fantastic teacher.  She is the one who taught us to make the Lone Star Swirl quilt that I posted about here.  You won’t be disappointed when you take this class.  To register and get a supply list, call the shop, or better still, stop in and register for the class and look at the various fabrics that would make a beautiful One Block Wonder quilt.
When I stopped at the shop today to get a picture of Vickie’s quilt, Cathy was there taking a bag class from Marilyn.  It looks like this is going to be a darling bag and will come in handy when Cathy takes a trip this summer.  As I always say, can’t have too many bags!

ON ANOTHER NOTE
  • Did you go check out the Row By Row Shop Hop website.  This is a must for anyone traveling this summer.  You won’t want to miss this.
  • Creativity Amongst Chaos wants you to become a Stitchin Queen in 2014.  She has a tutorial and free pattern for a beautiful little jam jar block.
Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

  1. I love those one block wonder quilts! I've never made one with triangles, but I did a couple with squares.
