Not much to show you today. I'm working on this dish mat for my friend. When I decided to make a mat for her I thought I would use one of my UFOs. I had the sample block that was in red and white fabrics. I think I made it for Happy Scrappers. Perfect, I thought. Then it occurred to me that I had better do a color test. Sadly, I discovered a few of the reds ran, so I had to discard that idea. I chose only good quality Quilt Shop fabrics for the mat above. I sure hope none of those reds run. And, I hope my friend likes the bright colors I have chosen.

ReplyDeleteI recognize that fabric! The center square. I bought a few yards of that fabric many years ago. An oldie but goodie. I'm sure she'll love it.
