CARING, SHARING, AND CREATING SMILES

The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop last Saturday and Judi showed us this!  What is it?
Judi made this darling scissors holder.  She is so clever!
Nancy showed us her large Twilling blocks.  She brought them in to audition sashing and border fabrics.  These are really stunning blocks.
Rosa worked on making pillowcases.  She had left over blocks from the paper piecing log cabin squares we made a couple years ago and decided to use them to decorate her pillowcases.
This is closeup of one of her blocks.  Isn't he adorable.  Rosa makes these pillowcases for Safe Haven, a local shelter for battered women and children.  What a good heart she has.  I think I'll take advantage of the sale going on right now at the Attic Window and get fabric to make some pillowcases too.  How about you?
Val worked diligently on this jelly roll race quilt.  I could her hear machine humming all day long.  But she got it finished!  Isn't it awesome!  I love those fabrics!
Jill worked on this marvelous quilt!  The pattern is by Timeless Treasures.  It is Ophelia by designer Konda Luckau.  I'm eager to see this when finished.
Since this was a slightly different group of women from those who attended Wednesday's Happy Scrappers, we had another birthday party for Chris.  Cathy M. made a cake to help us celebrate.  Above, Cathy presents Chris with a candle lit cake!  We sure have a good time.

DON'T FORGET:
  • Sale All This Week - 20% off everything, even sale fabric.
  • Stop back tomorrow when Rosa gives us a tutorial.
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
Connie Kresin of Freemotion by the River has a tutorial for a piano keys table runner.

  1. Those ombré fabrics give the jelly roll race pattern lots of interest.
