ANOTHER WAY TO USE YOUR SCRAPS

I forgot to show you the blocks I made during our last Happy Scrappers meeting at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I posted about the first block here.  Scroll down on that post and you can find a link to the pattern.
Here are my three blocks together.  This is a great way to use scraps and make a lovely quilt.  I'll probably put sashings in the quilt.
Above are two more centers for blocks.  I'm having fun using from my scrap pile to make these.  I did buy some fat quarters and fat eights to make the outside blocks because I wanted the star points to be in black and use white for the backgrounds.

HAPPENING THIS WEEK:
  • One Block Wonder, Thursday, Oct. 22
  • Sew Together Bag, Friday, Oct. 23
  • Scrappers Schoolhouse, Saturday, Oct. 24
Be sure and check the calendar on the Sidebar for more happenings at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this week.

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
  • Alamosa Quilter shows us her mystery quilt today.  She also has a link that will take you to the directions to make it.  This is another wonderful way to use yours scraps.

  1. Your blocks are looking good. I love how you are using a single color of scraps for your nine patches. I'm going to show this to my group as an alternate idea since I used multiple colors in each of my nine patches.
