HOW TO KEEP COOL THIS SUMMER

You are going to want to make one of these.  When Cathy stopped by my house recently to show me her latest project, I got so excited I immediately started making a list of my children and grand children who could use one.  These are called cooling scarves.  Cathy has one around her neck and is holding another.  With all the hot and humid weather we've been having lately I imagine these will be a welcome gift.  Some of my kids are runners, some of my grandchildren work in hot warehouses or auto repair places, others are out in the sun working all day.  I can just visualize them cooling off with one of these around their neck.
Above is a closer look at the scarves.  If you are interested in her class call the Attic Window Quilt Shop and asked to be put on the list.  I don't know if Cathy plans on a class, but I bet if enough people are interested, she will.  I can't wait to try making one.  She says it is very simple.  Watch for an update on class and pattern details.
