HAPPY SCRAPPERS GET BUSY

The Happy Scrappers met Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, Marilyn shows us the Retreat bag she was working on that day.  Love that fabric with the cherries.

Adrienne came  in with these trays of fabric all cut and ready to be sewn.

This is the block she made with those fabrics.  What a stunning quilt this will make.

 Adrienne also made this very little Sweetpea Pod.  She is making it to hold earrings.

Here the zipper is open.  Look at how small that is!  I'm amazed.  This is so cute!

Cathy was busy making Sweetpea Pods also.  She had made some Bendy Bags to be given as presents and when she discovered what she could do with those leftover pieces, she got busy and made these.

When Diana wasn't busy helping people with their Sweetpea Pods, she was working on her own project.  She is making an Ornament.  The pattern is Holiday Stars by Poor House Designs.

And this is what I worked on.  I had a bag of scraps left from a quilt I made several years ago.  When I saw A Year Of Scrappy Triangles, I had to try the pattern.  They are paper pieced and each triangle is a different pattern.  I had the big circles left over from that previous quilt, so I plan on using them too.  Maybe placing a circle block between each triangle block.  You can see the patterns for the scrappy triangles here.
