HAVE YOU MADE A MUG WARMER?

Hello fellow quilters.  I hope you had a great weekend.  I got to have lunch with Stephanie and Maureen from Kalamazoo and that was a treat.  They were on their way north to a retreat.  Feeling energetic and inspired after talking to them, I came home and worked on a quilting project that I'll show you soon.  For now, above is the little mug warmer that I finished yesterday.
This is the other side of the warmer.  I love applique but rarely use the fused method.  On such a small project I thought it appropriate.  Besides, this is what was shown in the book Quilted Covers and Cozies.  I love the black stitching.
Above is the warmer so you can see all three of the little birds.  It was such a fun project.
