YOU CAN MAKE DOLLS LIKE THESE

Last week while at the Attic Window Quilt Shop, the Doll Bee was meeting.  Since I had not intended to stop in at the shop I did not have my camera.  Julie said never mind because she had just sent me pictures of what the women were making.  Isn't this Humpty Dumpty adorable.  One of the women pointed out that no where in the Nursery Rhyme does it say Humpty Dumpty was an egg.  Did you know that?
The women are making Nursery Rhyme dolls.  I forget which Nursery Rhyme these two dolls are from.  Is that one the Big Bad Wolfe?  They are adorable and I can't get over the skill involved in making these dolls.  These women are so precise and have that authentic touch.  If you would like to join them, the Doll Bee meets every Thursday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  What a fun and talented group.

Thanks Julie for sending these pictures.  Your group is awesome!

I didn't make it to Happy Scrappers Saturday due to this wonderful winter (in spring) weather we are having here in west Michigan.  Didn't figure they needed an old lady on the road.  What a mess it was according to news on TV.
