FINALLY READY FOR FEBRUARY

I haven't been just sitting around whistling Dixie.  I finished this table topper that I showed you yesterday.  It was a fun and easy quilt.  I used my freezer paper method of applique, but Barb's pattern calls for the fuse method.  What can I say, I love hand applique.  You can read about the pattern here.
This is a picture of my quilting on the outside ring.  I did meandering inside the hearts.  Nothing turned out like I had hoped, but I had stared at the project for three days and finally decided to just do it!  I think it will look nice on my dining room table.

Wednesday, the Bees In The Attic meets at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  I will bring this table topper for show-n-tell.

Following the Bee meeting, the Quilt Block Cookbook BOM meets. Not only will I have this table topper for show-n-tell, but Cathy and I have a very special quilt to show you.  You won't want to miss this meeting.

DON'T FORGET to sign up for the Heart of Winter Tour bus trip on Saturday, Feb. 10th.  You can read about it here.  I'm really looking forward to visiting the four shops on the tour.
