The 2010 Sampler Class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop ends this month. Above Chris shows the First Saturday Sampler participants one way to finish the quilt. Maggie made this beautiful quilt.
This is the quilt that Chris made from the Sampler blocks. Both of these quilts are awesome. I’m amazed. You would never know that these two quilts are from the same pattern. Using different fabrics and different settings can give you totally different looks.
New Sampler: The 2011 Sampler starts in April. The first month, everyone participating will receive a tool. The tool is at a discounted price, and the fabric is free the first month. The following months you pay only $3. You will use this Quick and Easy Block Tool throughout the year and thereafter, as it has over 102 patterns, each in five different sizes. For the Sampler, you will have a choice of fabrics: Civil War or Brights. Call the shop to register for one of the many dates the Samplers are being offered.
Amanda Murphy Design has a tutorial for placemats for the well dressed table. Check it out.

Love these quilts...just wonderful!
Gorgeous quilts! Both are so beautiful!
OK how can we join this group. I know youri MIchigan but I'm not sure how close to me you are.
It's amazing how two quilts can look so different even though they contain the same block. Different fabrics, different arrangement. Wow!
