DO YOU KNOW WHAT BAG PATTERNS ARE?

When Knotty Girls met earlier this week at the Attic Window Quilt Shop, Sherri has some finishes to show us!
She made these blocks from “bag” patterns.  When I asked her what she meant, she said they were individual patterns that she purchased in separate envelopes (bags).

She purchased them several years ago and didn’t know what she was going to do with them.  After some thought she got out her EQ and designed a pattern.  She quilted it herself.  What a stunning quilt!

Sherri also had some other finished items to share.
Thank you, Sherri, for sharing and inspiring us.

It’s almost here: …. Saturday, SUNDAY!   Don’t make any other plans because you won’t want to miss the shop’s biggest sale of the year.  On January 1, 2012, the Attic Window Quilt Shop will be having a huge sale from 12-4 p.m.  Chris says that some things will be as much as 75% off!  Don’t forget!

PLEASE NOTE:  The Attic Window Newsletter is now available.  You can read it and/or download it onto your computer by clicking on the lady with the hat on the sidebar.  In it you will find information on clubs, Bees, classes, and upcoming events.  There is one minor change that needs to be noted.  Rose Of Sharon pickup will not begin until March.  Be sure and check it out.

Happy Quilting has a link to her new tutorial for Flying In Squares.  Great quilt!

You might want to check this out too.  Barb of Bejeweled Quilts has a unique pattern available for purchase.
