The
Happy Scrappers met Wednesday at the
Attic Window Quilt Shop. It was so nice to see everyone again. A lot of people couldn't attend during November and December due to the weather or visiting out of town or whatever. You know how hectic that time of year is. Today, the room was full and I loved seeing everyone and catching up. Judi A. got a new Tablet for Christmas so she had to make a new bag for it. Isn't it darling!
Cathy M. worked on her Farm Girls block. It is a milk can.
Oma was busy making these cute little zipper bags. I saw her later at the ironing board ironing batting for three more bags of various sizes. I think she got quite a bit done that day.
Adrienne worked on what she said is her "low volume" quilt. I love the way she puts fabric together. She has me all inspired so now I'm on the hunt for these low volume fabrics.
We had some show-n-tell too. Above Mary G. shows us her latest quilt. It is a disappearing nine patch. She made it for a friend.
I caught Mary at the ironing board pressing her Farm Girl blocks.
Vickie S. spent a lot of time at the cutting table.
Carol also showed us this stunning quilt that she just got back from the quilter. She said it was not a panel but the center was a piece of fabric cut off the bolt.
This is a closer shot of this beautiful quilt. She said she had to go to several different stores to get the matching blue pieces for the borders.
I'm sorry I didn't get around to everyone to take pictures. I was too busy talking. We meet again on Saturday, so maybe I'll get pictures of more projects then.
