HAPPY SCRAPPERS MEET AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Hello Quilters!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day Holiday.  I went to a parade and loved it.  So thankful for those who keep our country safe.  I had intended to write about the Happy Scrappers meeting earlier, but they must have done something over the weekend with Windows 11 or with Blogger.  It has taken me forever to figure out how to get some pictures on the blog.  So, I'm going to be quick and too the point and hope I don't forget anything.

Above, Marti shows us the quilt she made.  At the Happy Scrappers meeting at the Attic Window Quilt Shop, she was sewing on the binding.  Love the colors she chose.

Penny, and Jane (not shown), were busy making cord wraps for some event they were going to.  They were making lots and lots of cord wraps!

JanaLee worked on this adorable quilt.  As I recall, she's donating it to charity.  So cute!

Mary was working on using up her 30s fabrics and busy making another quilt, but she did show us this adorable sweater that she knitted for someone's baby.  It is not only stunning, but she has done excellent work.  This is fantastic, Mary!

We also had some Show-N-Tell.  Pam made the above jellyroll quilt.  You can get the pattern at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.

Mary P. made the above quilt.  The pattern is from the Three Yard Quilt book.

There is a new class starting next month.  Call the shop to register and get details.

This is a reminder of the upcoming Shop Hop.  Call the shop to get your passport.  So many shops to visit and so much fun!

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4.  Hope to see you there.

I can't believe it was May 17, 2012 when I started this quilt at a Mary  Lou Weidman seminar.  And it's still not finished!  To many things to do, to many new projects to start, and so much new fabric at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Anyone else like that?

On another note, do you have great plans for this holiday weekend?  I hope your plans include attending Happy Scrappers at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on Saturday, May 27th.  You can work on making a scrappy project or work on something else.  The fun is the socialization, being with other quilters, talking and exchanging ideas, and having a fun time.

Hope to see you there this Saturday.   The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4.  Hope to see you there.

NEW FABRICS, CALENDAR, AND BOOK

As promised, I want to show you some of the new fabrics in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  The above is Autumn Spice from Henry Glass & Co.

And I have to show you this!  The one on the right above, has a border on it.  Think what you can do with that!

These beautiful red, white and blue fabrics are from Windham Fabrics

This is a close up of the one on the left.  How lovely.

And these beautiful fabrics are from Poppie Cotton.  They are from the Hollyhock Lane line.

Be sure and check out the May calendar on the sidebar.

And today I had a number of people contact me for the name of the book or pattern that I showed on the blog yesterday.  Remember the one Pam made?  The book is Stashtastic and is by Doug Leko.  It is from Martingale.

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4.  Hope to see you there.
