A LOT GOING ON AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Have you picked up your May BOM from the Attic Window Quilt Shop?  Above, Lee Anne, who is the inspiration for this group, shows us her latest sample for the shop.  It is adorable!

The Happy Scrappers met Saturday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and we got to see some beautiful quilt tops.  The pattern above is Phoebe by Villa Rose Designs. Kits are available.  Included in the kit are two charm packets, background fabric, and pattern.
Vickie S. made this lovely top. This beautiful design is from Cut Loose patterns.
Vickie also made this one.  I love these bright colors.  This scrappy Bear Paw pattern is from Cut Loose patterns and uses a Creative Grid tool for the center blocks.  Be sure and stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop to get the patterns for these beautiful quilts.

And I want to show you pictures of our Happy Scrappers.  Above, Mary continues making charity quilts with her 30's fabrics.
Lee Anne said she was making a quilt for her Grandson (I hope I remember that correctly).
And Jane was busy making a quilted bag for someone (I think she said her daughter.  Gads, I have to remember to write these things down!)

And this is what I worked on.  Yes, I only sewed two strips of sashing.  Gads, I was so busy gabbing and catching up with what everyone has been doing, and looking at all the new fabrics and patterns and notions in at the shop, that I forgot to sew.  LOL.  It was a wonderful day!  Our next meeting is Saturday, June 26.  Hope you will join us!

Be sure and stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and check out all the new items.  The shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.

NEW FABRIC AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Hello Quilters.  Check out these stunning new fabrics just in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  This beautiful grouping is from Andover and called Secret Stash-Earth Tones by Laundry Basket Quilts.  Chris said that she also has a great selection of solids to go with it.

If you didn't get to attend the Slash Your Stash class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past weekend, Chris sent a picture of this lovely quilt.  Chris sent me a note with this picture.  "You missed it!  What a great time we had on Saturday at the  Slash Your Stash class.  We used 5" squares and made a small project to start with! Some of the gals bought more charm packets to make it bigger.... lots of other size squares will work with this technique."

I was so sorry I had to miss it.  I had my charm pack and was all ready, when my daughter, who lives out of town, called and said she was coming in for the weekend.  I couldn't miss that!  Hope Chris will have this class again.  I love this pattern!  Keep an eye on the calendar.

Speaking of the calendar, don't forget that Happy Scrappers meets this coming Saturday,  We had to move up our regular last-Saturday-of-the-month session because of the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

Be sure and stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and check out all the new items.  The shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.

NEW FABRICS AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Check out this adorable new kids grouping from Henry Glass now in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  It's called Wild and Free!  All the animals are wearing classes.  Just imagine a quilt made from these fabrics...in a child's room, a cute wall hanging for your favorite eye doctor's office. So many ideas!

More new fabrics in at the shop.

Above are the new browns from Hoffman.  Browns are a color that is hard to find!

The above new Batiks are also from Hoffman.  They remind me of cotton candy!

It's think-ahead time!  Also new at the Attic Window Quilt Shop is a new fall grouping from Henry Glass called Pumpkin Harvest.  Get ahead of yourself and start working on those fall items now.

Don't forget the "Slash Your Stash" on May 14 or 15.  Chris said that you bring your 5" charm squares and create a visual masterpiece with total patchwork appeal.  Use as many or as few as you like.  Make them mismatched 4 patch blocks.  You can purchase the Charm Squares at the shop, or you can bring a stack of 5" squares to swap.  You will receive a free pattern too!  HOWEVER, be sure and make your reservations NOW, as class space is limited to 8 people!

Be sure and stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and check out all the new items.  The shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.

NEW CALENDAR AND CLASS!

Hello Quilters!  I wanted to show you this beautiful quilt that our friend from Utah made.  Marjorie said this about her quilt:  "Just finished this top.  It was featured on the cover of AQS magazine a few months ago. This pattern is partially paper pieced.  Just hope the quilter can work with the small wowies in the edge!"

Marjorie, your quilt is beautiful.  Be sure and send a picture after it's quilted.  I want to see what the quilter does with those small "wowies."  Thanks so much for sending.

ATTENTION:  Be sure and check out the ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP'S May calendar on the sidebar, or you can go here, to check out all the new classes this month.  I bet you will especially want to attend the "Slash Your Stash" on May 14 or 15.
