IT'S A SPRINKLE

More pictures from First Saturday Bee at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Above Julie Johnson shows us her quilt for a Baby Shower.  She said she had a short time to make it and was still hand stitching the binding so she could have it ready for the Shower that afternoon.  Actually, it wasn’t a “Shower.”  It was a “Sprinkle” because the couple had a previous child who is about nine years old, so they couldn’t call this party for a second child a “shower.”  It was a “Sprinkle.”  Don‘t you love it!
Julie said that one year she had a retreat with the theme of puzzles.  This is the puzzle quilt she made for that retreat.  What child wouldn’t love those bright colors!
This Sudoku quilt is also one she made for the retreat.  I love the batiks.  You are a special lady Julie.  Thanks for sharing with us.

Don’t forget that the Attic Window Quilt Shop has a Special Sale Day this coming Saturday, August 13.  The sale is all day, but you will get the best discount from 8 to 10 a.m. if you come in to the shop wearing your pajamas.  You MUST wear your pajamas to get the best discount.  No PJs/ no discount!

Mark your calendar now for the Harvest Shop Hop.  Sept. 22-24 and Sept 29-Oct 1.  Passport is $10.

You have got to take a look at this pillow tutorial.  Susan of Living With Punks said she saw it at the Pottery Barn and decided to make one herself.  You’ll love it.

Stay calm! Stay kind! Stay Positive!

I love the idea of a "sprinkle" shower. It made me smile as I read your blog. The quilt is darling with the elephant, monkey and giraffe. The puzzle quilt is something my grandchildren would absolutely love! Sounds and looks like everyone had a great time. Nola
