MAKE THIS TABLE TOPPER

I love this small table topper and was thrilled when J.D. agreed to teach another class before the holidays.  This pattern is J.D.s own design and is available in several different sizes.  Depending on the fabric you use, it can be made to fit the season.  This one above in red and white would look lovely with a candy dish or candle.  Then again, doesn't it look beautiful just as is!  What a great gift for that someone special.  I made several of these during the holidays last year and can’t tell you how much fun this is to make.  As you know I'm not fond of piecing, but J.D.'s design and way of putting it together made this an enjoyable project.  I can think of three people right off that bat that I’d like to give one to.  I’m planning on taking J.D.s class at the Attic Window Quilt Shop on Friday, December 9th, from 10-1.  Call the shop to register.  Hope to see you there.

Don’t forget that the Friday after Thanksgiving is the Early Bird Special and Sit and Stitch time at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  The shop will open at 7 a.m.  A make it and take it project will be available, as will donuts and snacks.   If you’d like to get away from the maddening crowds on Black Friday, come sit and sew with us.  You could finish up a UFO, work on a new project, or just enjoy visiting with your quilting friends.

Christmas Craft Day is Saturday, November 26, from 9-5 at the shop.  Be sure an call to register for these fun projects.

I came across this blog and tutorial and thought how wonderful.  In these troubled times, whether it be weather or terrorists, this is a great thing to have around.  Take a look at Stuff You Can’t Have to see how to make this great item.

Dear Anonymous, Thanks for the comment. I don't know of a specific blog about the fall market. I think a lot of blogs have been posting about what they found when there. I'll see what Chris brought back and has at the shop that I can blog about. She did bring back a couple patterns that I fell in love with and am now working on. I'll post pictures as soon as I can.

I love this table topper. I would love to take that class. Wish I could. I have guests coming into town for work that day. Maybe someday we can get together and make this. Like in January so I can actually have something ready for Christmas for next year. LOL.

Since I can't make it to your shop from Alabama, is there a way to order the table topper pattern?
