WELCOME NEW BLOGGER

NOTE:  There was no block this past week in the Modern Monday Quilt Along.  I did notice that the new block for this week is up.  You can check it out at 42 Quilts

Have you noticed anything different?  Recently some of the blog posts have been done by Sue Christafferson (above).  You may already know her as I posted here about Sue being a new teacher at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.
Sue has a definite style and picks wonderful and unique projects for her students like the owl above.  Sue has a background in graphic design and is the person who designed this blog’s header, the Reindeer button, and is now the editor of the newsletter which you can download from the sidebar (notice the new design).  I love and appreciate that Sue has agreed to help with blog posts.  I asked her to start signing her posts so we can leave comments to the appropriate person.  I hope you will join me in welcoming Sue to this new venture.  I look forward to her posts.  The other day she posted about upcoming events at the shop that I hadn’t heard about.  I’m anxious to take Carolyn’s Blooming Blossoms class and this week I hope to take Maggie’s Make It/Take It class for Kansas Troubles Table mat.  You can read more about that here.

With this beautiful hot weather upon us here in Michigan it is time to give some thought to picnics and how to keep our food safe.  Check out Vicky Ferguson’s column today and read this important information.

Sew We Quilt has a nice tutorial for a table runner.

Hi Caroll,
Thanks for the shout-out for my blog.
I think you have a small mistake in the link because it goes to a dead end. Thanks for looking.
