Each month a series of classes are held with demonstrations on how to make a specific block(s). We receive a kit and instructions and get the rest of the month to practice and make our blocks. Then we bring back our finished blocks at the next monthly meeting when we get to ask questions and see what is in store for us that month.
This is what our January blocks should look like. It’s not too late. If you would like to participate in these fun skills-builder sessions, call the shop and register.
Above is a picture of last year's Sampler. I love the way Chris finished it. If you still don't have your finishing instructions, give Chris a call or stop by the shop.
Also: I had to show you these fabrics that I found at the shop. This is fabric from the Days of Yore line by Sue Marsh for RJR Fabrics.
This is a panel that you can get too.
Look at all these wonderful fabrics to go with the panel. Take a look at these the next time you are in the shop! I fell in love with them.
On Another Note: If you are looking for something to decorate your house during February, check out Apple Avenue Quilts. They are darling.
Also, I just learned that Jennifer Chiaverini will be in Grand Rapids to promote her new book . Go here to learn where and when.
Until next time,
♥

Practice make perfect! I took a sampler class similar to this one when I started quilting too and learned a lot.
Very nice sampler! You'll have a lot of piecing practice with that one!
