The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop Wednesday and I have a lot to share with you. First, let me show you this beautiful quilt that Adrienne made. This is a large quilt with 33 inch blocks that she made in two days from scraps and her stash! Wow! What a beautiful quilt. I’d love to see her stash! Do you think if I pilfered a piece or two she'd miss it?
This is a close up of the quilt. I don’t know if you can see it, but the quilter made dragon flies on the quilt.
Adrienne just came back from visiting her homeland New Zealand and had on these new shoes. Now, you wouldn’t expect Adrienne to pick out some plain white shoes would you?
Judi Anderson just finished this adorable ID purse. I love that fabric!
Judi also made this little sewing kit. Notice that it has three zippers. Judi is getting to be an expert on sewing in zippers! Great job Judi!
Does this block look familiar? When Becky Goldsmith of Piece O' Cake Designs was in town last year, Adrienne took a class from her. This is one of the Whimsical Garden blocks. I can’t wait to see how this quilt looks done up in these bright fabrics. I love it!
This is another block that Adrienne was working on today. Do you see what I mean about Adrienne's great sense of color. This block is just too cute for words!
Peggy was busy working on her scrappy string blocks. She is going to sash them in this orange fabric to brighten up this quilt full of “ugly” (her words) fabrics.
While we were at the shop today Delores Carew came in with a Show and Ask (isn’t that cute). She had a question for Chris about this beautiful quilt. Delores said that it is sort of a rail fence pattern. She wanted to use up her scraps.
Buffie worked on quilting her latest finish of a focus square paper pieced quilt. While she was busy sewing away, a customer came into the shop and Buffie told her about the quilt. I didn’t get the lady’s name and hope she will decide to join us in sewing at the Happy Scrapper’s Bee.
Yvonne was busy working on her paper pieced focus squares. Isn’t this one darling? I love cats.
Nancy is also working on her paper pieced squares. She is using all her purple scraps for these lovely squares.

Until next time,

What a great group you have there. Very talented! I'm trying to get a scrap group going at my LQS. The first meeting is next week. I hope I'm not the only one who comes!
I love Adrienne's quilt! It's wonderful! Wow!
I might have to steal her shoes. I really love them.
I love those log cabin blocks. I need to get back to mine. I'm so unorganized in my sewing room it's hard for me to stay focused on it.
See you Sat?
Really nice show and tells! They're always nice, of course, but this time it looks like everyone is trying to beat the color blahs going on outside our windows right now.
