Tari shows us her latest quilt made with Ghastlies fabrics by Alexander Henry. Isn’t it great!
Check out the eyelashes on this birdie.
Check out the bobby sox and saddle shoes on this little tweet. There were so many creative elements in this quilt that I couldn’t take pictures of them all. You’ll just have to stop in at the shop to see it. Catherine Martin made and quilted the quilt. She is a professional long arm quilter. The name of her business is Quilten Bee Express. You may contact her at 616-363-0703.
We had a young sewer join us Saturday. This is Sweet Pea. Her birthday is coming up soon and she was busy making these little bags to give to all those who attend her party.
She did this.
And then ironed them onto a bag, and then put the goodie bag together. I have no idea how all that happened, but those bags are darling. Her Mom, Stephanie of Peas In A Pod blog spot, helped her a little.
We hardly heard a word from Marcie. Check out that box of paper pieced blocks and the stack on top of her machine. She said she has 272 paper pieced squares done. Wow!
And Judy F. kept us all in stitches with her antics as well as her informative little tips. I’ve asked her to start sending us these tips for the blog. (No, those glasses are not real).
Here is Judy after she moved her fake glass lenses around! She is a hoot!
That’s all for today, folks. More on our fun day tomorrow.
