PHOTOS FROM RETREAT IN INDIANA

This past week Ruth Dean of Quilt n Go hosted on a wonderful retreat at the Farmstead Inn in Shipshewana, Indiana.  A number of us from the Grand Rapids area attended, and I wanted to share  this very fun event with you. I’ll show some of the pictures today and the rest tomorrow.  We will begin with Rosa (above) who is showing us the pretty glasses case she made.
Rosa also made this cute little tray.
And here she shows us a table runner that she made.
Deb S. show us her pretty wall hanging.
She also made this tree that was from a kit.
Deb also made this Fabric Fusion quilt which was also from a kit by Bill Kerr and Weeks Ringle.
Then she started on this pink and yellow quilt.
Irma made this cute Halloween wall hanging.
Jane shows us this Charm Party tote that she made for an upcoming charity auction.
Vickie D. finished up this batik quilt.
Then Vickie started making this baby quilt.
Diana A. worked on a folded star block.
Diana made all of these folded star blocks.
This is a close up of one of the blocks.  I admire her precise work.  These blocks are only about 6" square.
Lori made this cute little kid's quilt.
Chris gave a demo on a quick way to make a couple of blocks.
She showed us how to make this block which can be made into a nice table topper.
And she showed us how to make this block.  Wouldn't it be wonderful in a Quilts of Valor quilt!

During show and tell, Jan showed us this bright quilt made from a jelly roll.
Yvonne put together this quilt from blocks that she had previously stitched.
Yvonne also showed us this darling table topper that she made during the retreat.
Mary Alice showed us this wonderful table runner.  I love this block and hope to make one of these.

That’s all for today folks!  More pictures from the retreat tomorrow.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW:

You were in the same place we go to for our retreat in September/October for my guild. I recognize the room. It's a nice place and really reasonably priced, isn't it?!
