For instance, autumn is also the time for retreats and what better way to carry your rulers back and forth to a class or a retreat than by using this ruler bag that you have made! Vickie S. will teach us how to make one. She said, “A 15" square ruler and a 8" x 24" ruler will fit in this bag. There are two side pockets, and there is plenty of room to carry other over-sized items like a large roll of freezer paper and a bolt of fabric, interfacing or fusible web.” The Ruler Bag class is on Saturday, September 27th from 10-3. Call the shop to register and get a supply list.
This is a picture of a different ruler bag, the one that prompted me to beg Vickie to teach a class so I could make one too!
On Monday, October 13th from 10-4, Caroll will teach you how to make this stripe quilt-as-you-go quilt. You can make this quilt using solids and stripe fabrics as shown, or you can use fabrics of your choice. You will learn the QAYG technique and how to join the blocks. Call the shop to register for the QAYG class and get a supply list.
Don’t you love the bright colors of this Slash and Patch quilt? Vickie S. will teach us how to make this quilt on Monday, October 20th from 10 – 4. It should be a fun class as you will bring FQs to trade, thereby enabling you to include many various fabrics in your quilt. Call the shop to register for the Slash and Patch quilt and get a supply list.
This is a close-up of Vickie's stunning quilt. You can make one too! The more the merrier!
A lady can’t have too many bags! Vickie S. will teach us how to make this wonderful tote bag on Wednesday, November 5th, from 10 – 4. I don’t have any further details, but I love this bag. Call the shop to register for the Purple Tote Bag and get a supply list.
These are just a few of the upcoming classes at the shop. Please check the sidebar for more classes and I'll post pictures of samples as I get them.
