ARE YOU A HAPPY SCRAPPER?

The Happy Scrappers met at the Attic Window Quilt Shop this past Saturday.  It was a large group.  I think everyone was glad to get back to sewing and socializing after the Holidays.  That, and/or we might have wanted to get out and sew and socialize while we could as a big storm was predicted that evening.  It came.  It is still snowing.  And I'm glad I got to see all my quilting friends when I could.  Above is Pat, a new member, showing us her first quilt.
And this is Pat showing us her second quilt!  Can you believe it!  This is fantastic.  She said she is going to free motion quilt it herself.  Can't wait to see it all completed.
Cathy M. shows us her latest finish.  It is last year's BOM with Pat Sloan.  Cathy said she didn't finish it according to the instructions.  I like the way she puts her own touch to things.

Judy F. was working on this block.  It is stunning.  Judy said she traveled to the other side of the state and took a class from Judy Neimeyer and purchased the kit.  This quilt is from the Hoffman Christmas Collection.  I really want to see this one as it grows.
Jill was working on her Fanfare Log Cabin by Lazy Girl.
Sheryl was making blocks with this beautiful fabric!
Adrienne worked on making wonky blocks.
By the end of the day Adrienne had these lovely blocks completed.
Stephanie came up from the Kalamazoo area to join us.  It was so nice to see her!  She worked on her English paper piecing while we talked.
If I remember right, Stephanie said she has been working on the English Paper Piecing quilt for a couple of years and has just two rows to go.  Isn't it awesome!
I think Cathy and Diana were having way too much fun.
Nancy and Rosa were joining in the frivolity.
This picture is a little blurry but I wanted to show you these gals too.  From left, Janalee, Yvonne, Lee Anne, and Judy.  Busy having a fun day too!
Judi was busy working on her scrap quilt too.
All in all, I think we had a fantastic day.  Hope you will want to join us next month!
