HAVE YOU TRIED EPP?

The English Paper Piecing group met Tuesday afternoon at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above, teacher Diana shows Mary Ellen how to place her template.
Mary Ellen was doing a lot of fussy cutting on the teeny tiny pieces.  All that work and patience is going to be worth it.  It is beautiful all ready!
Sue worked on her Lucy Boston design.  She's also started another one in lighter shades of red.
I worked on this.  I made the center last month.  This month Diana showed me the QAYG technique for these hexagons.  I think this will make a good mug rug.  I'm now thinking about adding some hand quilting to make it more interesting (and give me practice).

The EPP group meets the second Tuesday afternoon each month at the shop.  Diana is an excellent teacher and I know you won't be disappointed when you join us.

NOTICE:
  • Another date/time has been added for the Quilt Block Cookbook BOM.  We have added an evening session for this new group.  That first session will be held Monday, September 26, at 6 p.m.  The day session will be held Wednesday, September 28, 11 a.m.  Call the shop to register so we will be sure to have enough kits available.

The little bit of EPP I have done I have enjoyed. I don't, however, see myself doing a large project with this method. But "never say never." I used to hate applique and now enjoy it.
