Above is a closeup of one of her blocks. There are a multitude of ways to quilt these blocks and Marilyn chose to use the straight line method. That is my favorite.
While Marilyn made her blocks, I decided to use up some of my black and white scraps and made the above mug rug.
I've decided to use this base and applique this bright flower on it. Haven't decided what to use for binding. You can learn my Freezer Paper Applique method and make a mug rug with me on Wednesday, September 28, from 2 - 3 p.m. Call the shop to register and get a supply list.
NOTICE: If you are looking for the Witch's Feet pattern on the sidebar, please shoot me an email and I will send it to you.

What a great way to use up those homespuns. It's gonna be gorgeous!
Love your happy mug rug! And homespun prints always make into a cozy comfy quilt.
