Teacher Julie L. sent these pictures of the beautiful dolls that she made and you will be making in her class. For the first class,
students need to bring their sewing machines and basic sewing supplies. You will also need a half yard of good quality quilting fabric in a khaki or
tan color and thread to match. You must also, have the KG doll pattern from
Gail Wilson. Pick up a supplies list and class syllabus at the first class.
Special note: You might want to ask Gail if she has a kit available and purchase that as Julie no longer has extras of this doll. Students who purchase a pattern also need to
purchase paints, roving, small buttons, etc. to complete their doll and Gail
Wilson.com is the best place to do it because the perfect color skin and face
detail paints and very tiny buttons are very hard to find locally. When you
place your order, mention that you are a participating in a class that
starts Sept 1, to be sure you get your pattern in time. Order at least two
weeks in advance please!
Class
starts Thursday, Sept 7, 2017 and runs every Thursday thru
September and October.
