The Happy Scrappers met Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. What a fun sewing and social time. Adrienne was back from New Zealand and above shows us the new quilt that she has started.
Here she shows us some added fabric flower petals that she will be using. This is going to be a beautiful quilt.
Lee Anne was back this month. Last month she was at retreat and we missed her. She is working on a charity quilt.
Janalee worked on this charity quilt. Such beautiful fabrics!
Mary W. showed us what you can do with those little leftover pieces. She created these two blocks from small scraps left over from other quilts. We are hoping everyone will bring their scraps next month and that she will show us creative ways to put them into a block. Mary is so talented and she proves that no scrap is so small that it can't be used.
Cathy sat right next to me and I'm so sorry I didn't get a picture of what she was working on. I know it was a quilt for charity using up her scraps. Above is the block I made. This is Pat Sloan's latest Out of This World BOM. I'm using scraps and think this will make a nice charity quilt. Not only am I having fun making these blocks but I'm learning a lot about piecing too.
