A LOT GOING ON AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Have you picked up your May BOM from the Attic Window Quilt Shop?  Above, Lee Anne, who is the inspiration for this group, shows us her latest sample for the shop.  It is adorable!

The Happy Scrappers met Saturday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and we got to see some beautiful quilt tops.  The pattern above is Phoebe by Villa Rose Designs. Kits are available.  Included in the kit are two charm packets, background fabric, and pattern.
Vickie S. made this lovely top. This beautiful design is from Cut Loose patterns.
Vickie also made this one.  I love these bright colors.  This scrappy Bear Paw pattern is from Cut Loose patterns and uses a Creative Grid tool for the center blocks.  Be sure and stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop to get the patterns for these beautiful quilts.

And I want to show you pictures of our Happy Scrappers.  Above, Mary continues making charity quilts with her 30's fabrics.
Lee Anne said she was making a quilt for her Grandson (I hope I remember that correctly).
And Jane was busy making a quilted bag for someone (I think she said her daughter.  Gads, I have to remember to write these things down!)

And this is what I worked on.  Yes, I only sewed two strips of sashing.  Gads, I was so busy gabbing and catching up with what everyone has been doing, and looking at all the new fabrics and patterns and notions in at the shop, that I forgot to sew.  LOL.  It was a wonderful day!  Our next meeting is Saturday, June 26.  Hope you will join us!

Be sure and stop in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop and check out all the new items.  The shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.

Hugs, Caroll

Hahaha...you deserve to be gabby and do loads of visiting as you have had quite the struggle not socializing during the pandemic. I am glad to see you can get out and about again. You can always catch up on sewing.

Generosity has no bounds. Above are the women in the Quilts For Kids group at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Left to right, Henrietta, Phyllis, Nancy, Carol, Karen. These women donate their time, fabric, money once a month to make quilts for kids who have cancer.
