I'm not sure where these quilts will go after they are bound. I know that some of them go to Kids Without Beds. This is such a wonderful group of women.
And that Jane is so loving and thoughtful. She was busy making pillowcases for members of the armed forces that are on ships. Jane heard that Chris had a granddaughter in the Navy so she gave this pillowcase to her to give to her granddaughter. I wish I had gotten a closeup of this fabric. It's so appropriate. And I apologize to Jane because she made a lovely quilt with cats and dogs on it and apparently I got so involved with the show-n-tell that I forgot to take a picture!
And LeeAnne (left) made this fantastic quilt for her grandson! Janalee (right) is helping her hold it up. This quilt is something to see. There are thousands of very small pieces and the workmanship is something to behold.
Marti and Mary Gee stopped by. Above Marti shows her latest quilt. She made this modern quilt for her brother.Mary Gee quilted it for her. Love this quilting design.
Above is another quilt that Marti made. She may have been missing our Happy Scrappers meetings these past few months, but she's not just sitting around twiddling her thumbs. Great job, Marti!
And, lastly, I want to show you my monster quilt that I made for my great grandson. Hope he likes it!
Don't forget The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5; Saturday, 10-4.
