HAPPY SCRAPPERS ARE HAVING FUN!

We had a wonderful time this past Saturday at the Happy Scrappers meeting at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Despite the rain, sleet, and ice, we had a nice turn out.  Above, Pam (new to the group) shows us this beautiful quit made from all scraps.  From what I understand, this is just a fourth of the quilt.  She plans on making three more like this and making a big quilt. I'm eager to see it!

Above, Sonie shows us one of the blocks she is working on.

And check out this quilt that Sonie made.  This is her first quilt that she has quilted herself on her new quilting machine.  It's fantastic.

Above are close-ups of her work.  Can you believe this is her first time!!!  Great job, Sonie!

Lee Anne shows up what she is working on.  What beautiful fabric she has chosen!
Jane shows us the border she is working on.  It is for a panel.

This is the panel.  What a beautiful quilt she is making!!

Nancy was busy making these squares for the quilt she is working on.
Check out this pile she still has to sew together.  The pattern is Voysey. I can't wait to see this quilt finished.

And this is what I worked on.  Anyone recognize the blocks?  Years ago I belonged to a group of quilters from around the world.  I have blocks from the Netherlands, Australia, UK, and various places in the US.  I received so many blocks that I decided to make two quilts. I'll show you that one when I get it put together.

The Happy Scrappers meet again on Saturday, April 29th.  All are welcome.  You can spend a whole day socializing, having fun, shopping, and sewing.  All for just $5.

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4.  Hope to see you there.
