HAPPY SCRAPPERS MEET AT ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Hello Quilters!  The tornado passed, and the Attic Window Quilt Shop got back electricity, thank heavens.  That meant the Happy Scrappers could meet at the Shop this past Saturday.  Chris, shop owner, had a treat for us.  She showed us how to make blocks for this lovely quilt.
She passed out fabric to each of us attendees, then showed us how to free-hand cut it.
Then she showed us how to assemble the blocks.
While we watched and made plans for our blocks.
Then we got down to sewing our blocks and also finishing up some of our projects.  Above Marti shows us this UFO that she started in 2015!  This snowman reflects the smile on her face at getting this one done.  I know that feeling!
Cathy is working on a project from the book "The Little Ghost Who Thought He Was A Quilt," which she purchased on Amazon.  She said when she saw the quilt on the front of the book, she had to make it
Sonie shows us blocks that she made using selvages from her fabric  She plans on using them to make a purse.

Jane is making blankets that she gives to Santa Clause Girls to wrap around dolls or stuffed animals that they give away at Christmas.

Nancy made this beautiful quilt and Sonie quilted it for her.
Nancy also worked on this lovely quilt during our time at the Attic Window.  Can you see a flaw?  I can't.
But Nancy did as did Sonie

So, we laid the quilt on the floor, and all gathered around to see the flaw.  I guess they found it, but I never did.  I think it is a beautiful quilt.

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4.

Stop in and get some of these new fabrics.  You won't want to miss them!!

NEW FABRIC AT THE ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Hello Quilters.  Check out these beautiful fabrics just in at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  The colors are stunning.  These fabrics are by Northcott and called Morning Light.

This is the lovely panel to go with those fabrics.
And check out this beautiful panel that also goes with those coordinating fabrics above. Not only is this a beautiful panel, but you can also make this panel into a bag.
The instructions for making this adorable bag are included on the panel.
It's not too early to think abut those projects you need to have finished by Halloween.  The above line is Hocus Pocus and is by Northcott.
I had to show you a close up of this bolt. So cute!

The Attic Window Quilt Shop is open Monday-Friday, 10-5, and Saturday, 10-4.

Stop in and get some of these new fabrics.  You won't want to miss them!!
